Part-Time Babysitter/Nanny for Young Children

About the role

We are seeking a caring and dependable part-time babysitter/nanny to join our warm, family-oriented, Christian household in Orange County, CA. The role begins September 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM and ends September 22, 2026 at 2:00 AM, serving as a backup to our full-time nanny during her unavailability, potentially covering evenings, weekends, date nights, and other occasions requiring additional childcare. You will care for three children: Genesis (6), TJ (5), and Lorena (2). We value a candidate who shares our Christian faith and values and can incorporate them into the care and guidance of our children.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and caring for the children
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Tidying up after the kids
• Assisting with bedtime routines
• House or pet sitting as needed
• Being comfortable around family pets

Requirements

• Trustworthy individual who treats home and children with the utmost care and respect
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience with young children
• Enjoys engaging children in interactive and educational play
• Reliability, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children
• Christian faith and willingness to incorporate faith into care
