Part-Time Babysitter for Young Children

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, caring, and safety-conscious babysitter/nanny in Chicago, IL, to care for our young children aged 2, 3, 6, and 11 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care
• Ensure safety is the top priority
• Prepare simple snacks and light meals
• Engage the children in age-appropriate play and activities
• Maintain a tidy environment by cleaning up toys and activity areas used during the day
• Help the children learn to tidy up after themselves

Requirements

• Dependable, punctual, warm, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with children
• Comfortable caring for multiple young children
• Possess a safety-first mindset
• Handle emergencies calmly
• Non-smoker with reliable transportation
• Comfortable communicating with us throughout the day

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is strongly preferred
• No pet care required, although we have a shepherd mix pet at home
• The role does not involve driving, but you will be responsible for feeding the children and assisting with their bedtime routine
• Reliability and consistency are of utmost importance to us
