Part-time Babysitter for Infant and Preschooler

About the role

We are seeking a patient, energetic, and responsible babysitter to care for our 1-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl in Washington, DC.

Schedule

Monday, August 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with potential for additional days in the future.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the children at all times
• Tidy play areas
• Feed meals and snacks
• Avoid screen time
• Engage children in educational activities such as reading and learning colors, shapes, numbers, and ABCs
• Communicate with parents and grandparents regarding any concerns
• Care for our friendly 25lb Westie terrier and take him on walks if accompanied by a grandparent

• Device usage discouraged during work hours
• Photography of children is prohibited
• Both paid and unpaid breaks provided
