Part-Time Aviation Airframe and Powerplant Instructor

Requirements

• Minimum of two years full-time (or equivalent part-time) occupational experience in aircraft mechanics occupations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and PowerPlant (A&P) certification.
• Air Mech @7 7G certification.

FAA FAR Part 147 establishes the following knowledge and skill standards:

• Level 1: Knowledge of general principles.
• Level 2: Knowledge of general principles and limited practical application.
• Level 3: Knowledge of general principles with a high degree of practical application and hands-on skill levels.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with qualifications exceeding the minimum requirements are preferred.
