About the role

Sahara Pines Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time veterinarian to join their team. Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, the practice offers comprehensive care including wellness exams, surgery, dental, X-ray, and ultrasound services.

Responsibilities

• Treat and diagnose a variety of animal medical conditions
• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of licensed veterinarians
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Conduct routine check-ups and wellness examinations
• Document patient care and treatment in electronic health records
• Communicate effectively with clients about their pets' health and care
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Current North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) or passing score on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) within the last 5 years
• A valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Nevada
• Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine from an AVMA-accredited program
• Experience in small animal practice preferred
