Part-time Assistant Women’s Track and Field Coach, Jumps

About the role

This position is based in Manchester, NH. SNHU invites applications for the part-time Women’s Track & Field Assistant Coach position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the responsibilities of the NCAA D-II Women’s Track & Field program in accordance and compliance with NCAA, NE10, and SNHU policies and regulations.
• Possibly assist in recruiting prospective student athletes in compliance with NCAA and University policies and procedures.
• Must be willing to collaborate and take direction with current coaching staff.
• Help foster a team culture that is focused and driven to succeed academically and athletically.
• Aid the head coach in planning and implementation of practice, competitions, travel and other administrative duties.
• Conduct and supervise athletically related activities for specific training groups when assigned by the head coach.
• Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with the NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.

Requirements

• 1+ years coaching and/or personal athletic experience in the vertical/horizontal jumps
• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of coaching experience in the vertical/horizontal jumps
• A strong commitment to the safety and welfare of student-athletes
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends and some evenings
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport student athletes

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and ability to transport student athletes. Work hours are varied to meet business demands as needed.

Skills

Knowledge of NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $14.43 - $23.10. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $15.95 - $21.58.
