Part-Time Assistant Resource Coordinator

About the Role

Support in the development of programming, events, and activities based on school, parent, and student interests/needs to help foster the critical thinking and independence of students. Focus areas include social and emotional learning, academic enrichment, community service, leadership, fine and performing arts, and health & wellness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as team lead/YG point person when the Resource Coordinator is out of the office, making executive decisions to manage the program, handle schedule changes, and address emergencies with the best interests of all stakeholders in mind.
• Maintain complete records of attendance and services provided in Cityspan.
• Manage the billing roster and assist with the invoicing process.
• Provide administrative and program support for School Programs.
• Supervise and support students and staff as directed.
• Aid in staff development, including organizing and hosting trainings.
• Maintain behavioral expectations for students in alignment with established methods and procedures, including mastery of school-based behavior management plans such as supporting positive discipline and restorative justice practices.
• Maintain positive and mutually informative relationships with school administration, teachers, staff, parents, students, and community stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain tools for communicating with grant providers, schools, parents, students, community members, and other stakeholders as necessary.
• Cultivate community partnerships with individuals and organizations that can provide resources and/or support for programs and initiatives, including volunteers, donations, youth opportunities, grants, etc.
• Support fostering and building community collaborations and relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Resource Coordinator.
