Part-Time Assistant Property Manager

Compensation: $25-$27 per hour

About the role

In this position you will help to provide oversight for the daily activities including leasing, collections, resident relations, maintenance, general office administration, and policy & procedure compliance. Although living onsite may or may not be required, working from the site management office is a requirement. This is a part-time role, 16 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the supervision and oversight of administrative, marketing, and maintenance staff
• Monitor condition of property to provide proactive maintenance services
• Supervise and coordinate vendors including landscapers, turnover services, and technicians
• Oversee capital projects
• Provide effective resident relations
• Monitor and manage resident payment practices

Requirements

• Some experience in real estate, resort management, retail, or property management is helpful
• Yardi experience preferred
• Affordable housing experience preferred
• General understanding of property management and the financial aspects
• Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
• Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to remain positive under a variety of circumstances
• Willing to participate in and embrace opportunities for professional development via ongoing training
• Ability to work the schedule outlined as well as some after-hours emergency support
• Present a neat, clean, professional appearance at all times while on the job
