About the role
BoxLunch is dedicated to eliminating hunger by donating meals to Feeding America for every $10 spent. We are seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 who will assist the Store Manager in achieving store objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and comp sales goals
- Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative and passionate team
- Create buzz and engage customers through promotions, social media, and benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
- Lead operations, balancing autonomy, customer-first selling, and loss prevention
- Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
- Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies for hitting sales targets
- Merchandise the store according to planograms and launch promotions on time
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
- Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
- Skills in communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and team development
- Average age of 18 or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to navigate the store, merchandise product, and pack/unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds

Benefits
BoxLunch offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.15 - $22.05 per hour, subject to individual qualifications, training, and experience.
Pay
The pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but final salary will be determined by various factors including education, location, meeting minimum job requirements, and training and experience.
