Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 2

About the role

BoxLunch is dedicated to eliminating hunger by donating meals to Feeding America for every $10 spent. We are seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 who can lead our pop culture-driven brand.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and comp sales goals
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team
• Create buzz and engage customers through promotions, social media, and benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Lead operations, balancing autonomy, customer-first selling, and loss prevention
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategies
• Messure and merchandise the store, launching promotions on time

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop teams
• Skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development
• Able to manage payroll, reporting, scheduling, and merchandising
• Able to work independently and adapt to fast-changing retail environments
• At least 18 years old
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Preferred degree
• Ability to navigate the store and use approved equipment
• Ability to pack and unpack boxes of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds

Benefits

BoxLunch offers a competitive hourly wage range of $20.45 - $23.55 per hour, subject to individual qualifications, training, and experience.

Schedule

Part-time, flexible schedule to be determined based on the needs of the store and the candidate's availability.

The starting pay range for this position is $20.45 - $23.55 per hour, with other factors determining the final salary for potential new hires.
