Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 2

As a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2, you’ll support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and team development while fostering a customer-first culture rooted in pop culture and philanthropy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales plans and comp sales goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team to drive store success.
• Boost customer engagement through promotions, social media, and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Lead operational excellence by balancing customer-first selling practices with delegation and autonomy.
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ partners to share trends and customer feedback.
• Analyze sales reports and use data to guide strategies for hitting targets.
• Merchandise the store compellingly, follow planograms, and launch promotions on time.
• Develop a high-performing, customer-focused team in partnership with the Store Manager.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• Passion for philanthropy and pop culture.
• Proven leadership in driving team success, with skills in communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling), and team development.
• Strong time management, professionalism, and a drive to mentor your team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (a degree is a plus).
• Ability to adapt in a fast-changing retail environment.
• Physical ability to navigate the store, merchandise products (including using store equipment), and lift/move boxes of merchandise up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
