Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 2

As a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2, you’ll support the Store Manager in driving sales, recruiting, and developing a passionate team while fostering customer relationships in a civic-minded, pop-culture-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales plans and comp sales goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Drive customer engagement through promotions, social media, and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Lead operational excellence, balancing customer-first selling with effective delegation and loss prevention.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, and associate schedules to maintain efficiency.
• Communicate trends and customer feedback to retail leadership and HQ partners.
• Analyze sales reports and use data to guide strategies for hitting targets.
• Merchandise the store compellingly, following planograms and launching promotions on time.
• Develop and mentor a team of customer-focused associates in partnership with the Store Manager.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• Proven leadership in driving team success with skills in communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling), and team development.
• Strong time management, professionalism, and a passion for developing team members.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (a degree is a plus).
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Physical ability to navigate the store, merchandise products (including lifting up to 50 pounds), and handle store equipment.

Pay

$17 – $19.55 per hour. The final salary will consider factors such as education, location, experience, and meeting minimum job requirements.
