About the role

BoxLunch is dedicated to eliminating hunger through donations made from every $10 spent. As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the store leadership team and ensuring the best customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return
  • Use product knowledge and customer experience skills to enhance the shopping journey
  • Support the training and success of new recruits
  • Cover the sales floor and offer leadership support when the Manager is unavailable
  • Open and close the store as needed
  • Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
  • Communicate fashion trends to management and HQ partners
  • Ensure there's no misuse of spells and maintain a tidy store environment
  • Develop and retain a collaborative team to run the store alongside you
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by your Store Leader

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of retail store experience
  • Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
  • Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop your team
  • Aged 18 or older
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • The usual retail requirements (accommodated if necessary)
