About the role
BoxLunch is dedicated to eliminating hunger through donations made from every $10 spent. As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the store leadership team and ensuring the best customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return
- Use product knowledge and customer experience skills to enhance the shopping journey
- Support the training and success of new recruits
- Cover the sales floor and offer leadership support when the Manager is unavailable
- Open and close the store as needed
- Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
- Communicate fashion trends to management and HQ partners
- Ensure there's no misuse of spells and maintain a tidy store environment
- Develop and retain a collaborative team to run the store alongside you
- Perform any other tasks assigned by your Store Leader
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail store experience
- Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
- Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop your team
- Aged 18 or older
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- The usual retail requirements (accommodated if necessary)
