About the role
As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll play a crucial part in our mission to eliminate hunger by supporting the store leadership team in providing exceptional customer experiences and managing day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return
- Step in and step up when needed, covering the sales floor and providing leadership support
- Open and close the store as needed
- Work the register, processing sales transactions and driving add-on sales using benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
- Understand and communicate store sales plans, comp sales goals, and key KPIs such as UPT and ADT
- Aid in planogram changes, including store maps, wall fixtures, and merchandising mixes
- Communicate fashion trends to management and HQ partners
- Ensure there’s no misuse of spells and theft prevention
- Support the maintenance of the store and stock room
- Help develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by your Store Leader
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail store experience
- Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
- Age 18 or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to navigate the store, use store equipment, and handle up to 50-pound boxes of merchandise
