Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 1

About the role

As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll play a crucial part in our mission to eliminate hunger by supporting the store leadership team in providing exceptional customer experiences and managing daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills
• Step in and assist when needed, covering the sales floor and offering leadership support to the Manager
• Manage the store’s opening and closing, as required
• Process sales transactions, drive add-on sales through BOPIS and curbside pickup, and communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager
• Understand and support the store’s sales plan, comp sales goals, and key KPIs: UPT and ADT
• Aid in planogram changes, including updating the store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix
• Communicate fashion trends to management and relevant HQ partners
• Ensure there’s no misuse of spells and maintain a secure environment against theft
• Support the maintenance of the store’s stock room and tidiness
• Help develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store alongside you
• Perform any other tasks assigned by your Store Leader

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail store experience
• Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
• Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop your team
• Age 18 or older
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved equipment, and handle up to 50 pounds of boxes
