About the role
As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll play a crucial part in our mission to eliminate hunger by supporting the store leadership team in providing exceptional customer experiences and managing daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills
- Step in and assist when needed, covering the sales floor and offering leadership support to the Manager
- Manage the store’s opening and closing, as required
- Process sales transactions, drive add-on sales through BOPIS and curbside pickup, and communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager
- Understand and support the store’s sales plan, comp sales goals, and key KPIs: UPT and ADT
- Aid in planogram changes, including updating the store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix
- Communicate fashion trends to management and relevant HQ partners
- Ensure there’s no misuse of spells and maintain a secure environment against theft
- Support the maintenance of the store’s stock room and tidiness
- Help develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store alongside you
- Perform any other tasks assigned by your Store Leader
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail store experience
- Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
- Avenger-like skills: communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop your team
- Age 18 or older
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved equipment, and handle up to 50 pounds of boxes
