About the role
As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the store leadership team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and managing day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide an amazing shopping experience by showcasing product knowledge and customer service skills
- Step in and lead when needed, covering the sales floor and offering support to the Manager
- Manage store operations, including opening and closing hours, and processing sales transactions
- Support the register by driving add-on sales through promotions like BOPIS and curbside pickup, and communicating any discrepancies to the Store Manager
- Understand and contribute to the store's sales plan, performance metrics, and inventory management
- Assist with store layout and merchandising, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines
- Communicate fashion trends and maintain a collaborative team environment
- Work with Store Management to prevent and address issues related to theft and misuse of store resources
- Help maintain the store and stockroom, keeping everything organized and tidy
- Support the development and retention of a motivated team
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail store experience
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Age 18 or older
- Ability to manage up to 50-pound boxes of merchandise
