Part-time Assembler

About the role

The Dixon Group is seeking a part-time Assembler to join their Boss Division in Chestertown, MD. This role offers flexible scheduling with a minimum of 15 hours per week and at least 3 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Manually assemble Dixon Boss Clamps, ensuring proper orientation and the precise assembly of nuts and bolts.
• Maintain clear communication with team members on the manufacturing floor.
• Learn to operate hand tools and basic machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Keep your workspace clean, organized, and production ready.
• Communicate with employees on manufacturing floor.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong finger and hand dexterity for manipulating small parts.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to lift and maneuver components up to 50lbs throughout the shift.
