Responsibilities
- Fitting, aligning, calibrating and adjusting parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements
- Assemble parts and components to produce finished assemblies
- Repairing units, structures and products that fail to meet requirements
- Check and adjust accuracy using dial gauges, test bars and other equipment
- Use grinding machines as necessary during assembly
- Ensure the quality and delivery of assembly processes
- Follow assembly manuals and check sheets to ensure proper steps are taken during assembly
- Work as a team member, reporting to a Leader on assembly status
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Can adjust to changes that occur during production
- Clean/wipe down machines after certain steps in production
- Frequent: standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, and pulling, repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements
- Periodic: operating power equipment, and utilizing a computer
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0-5 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to assemble sheet metal covers, plumbing, motion components, cast structures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely operate an overhead crane
- Fundamental computer operation skills
Qualifications
- Preferred: certified to operate a forklift
Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions

Schedule
- Monday through Friday, Maximum 29 hours per week (flexible per discussion)
