Part-Time Art Instructor – Clovis, CA

About the role

Children’s Art Classes of Clovis, CA will be opening this summer. We are accepting applications for a Part Time Art Instructor to lead some of our camps this summer and take on classes for our fall curriculum. All supplies and a full, structured curriculum are provided. Core classes are small and capped at 13 students per class.

Responsibilities

• Lead summer camps and fall curriculum classes.
• Fill in for planned absences or emergencies.
• Help cover summer camps, special events, open houses, and birthday parties.

Requirements

• Ability to work two weeknights and Saturdays.
• Available for travel to receive training May 25 through May 29.
• Complete Live Scan and Mandated Reporter Training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Art Education (or BFA) and teaching certificate preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of in‑classroom teaching experience.
• Curriculum delivery experience.
• Strong classroom management skills.
