Part-Time Apothecary Team Member

Kimberton Whole Foods of Wyomissing is seeking a part-time Apothecary Team Member.

Schedule

Set part-time schedule up to 24 hours per week, including one weekend shift:

• Sundays 8am - 4:30pm
• Wednesdays 10am - 6:30pm
• Fridays 12pm - 8:30pm

Pay

$15.00–$17.00 hourly to start, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Receive and stock supplements, body care, gifts, cards, and magazines
• Stock and handle products following time and temperature guidelines
• Rotate back stock on a first-in, first-out basis
• Collaborate with the Apothecary Department Head to maintain accurate, up-to-date product signage
• Understand and follow KWF inventory management practices
• Act as a community resource by assisting customers with wellbeing products in compliance with DSHEA law

Requirements

• Background knowledge of natural wellness products, supplements, and body care
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Thrives as a team player in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for 8-hour shifts
• Excellent time management skills

Physical Capabilities

• Full range of senses (vision, hearing, smell) to read labels, distinguish colors, assess product quality, and communicate effectively
• Ability to lift, grip, and carry objects up to 50–75 pounds frequently
• Stooping, squatting, and kneeling to retrieve items from shelving and carts
• Walking short distances to transport items
• Prolonged standing
• Movement-based work environment; majority of time spent walking or standing
• Ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock) and handle cold products for extended periods
