About the Role

Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited-term faculty positions in the Bailey School of Music for the academic year 2026-2027. These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank will be determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. Positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate courses in music. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Music or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
• OR a minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
