Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Interactive Design
About the role
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of English to teach Interactive Design for the academic year 2026-2027. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate courses in Interactive Design. Candidates who can teach in any area of these curricula may be considered. Assignments are based on need and may be up to three courses per semester.
- Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online).
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Interactive Design or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
- OR A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
- OR A bachelor's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Interactive Design or a closely related field and seven years or more of professional experience may be considered in lieu of graduate coursework.

- Record of past teaching at the undergraduate level

Background Check
