Part Time After School Youth Sub/On-Call Staff -Del Valle & Lockhart
About the role
Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Responsibilities
As an Educator, you will be working with children in a before and after-school setting, creating safe, engaging experiences for them. The role is available on an on-call, as-needed basis, with required Monday availability coverage.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age with a High School diploma/GED
- Background Clearance completion will be required
- At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare group-type setting
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements
- First Aid and CPR-in-person (if required, ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
- Cleared tuberculosis test (if required, ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
- Proof of MMR (if required for documentation)
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills, work well in a team environment, and have the ability to lift 25lbs. They will also have a drive to inspire a love for learning and a commitment to healthy living, as well as flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
Skills
- Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
- Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
- Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn

Pay
Starting at $15.00/hr and up, depending on years of experience working with kids in a group setting.
Schedule
On-Call/As-Needed Role, available Monday through Friday between 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 1:40 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday.
