Part-Time Adjunct Faculty Art Appreciation

About the role

Art Appreciation is a general introduction to Art and a general educational elective offered by the Art Department at NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC).

Responsibilities

• Teach Art Appreciation and other related courses.
• Develop and deliver lessons using an online learning management system like Canvas or similar.
• Engage in project-based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning activities.

Requirements

• A Master's Degree in Art or Art History is required.
• Teaching experience at the college/post-secondary level is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience teaching at a community college and understanding the community college mission is a plus. Demonstrated teaching ability is the top priority.

Skills

• Experience using an online learning management system like Canvas or similar.
• Experience or interest in project-based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning.
