Part time 0.6 Year 5 Teacher – North Dorset
About the role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive and friendly team who are committed to working together for a 0.6 job share (Mon to Weds each week) for the Summer term. Paid to scale from day 1.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 5 curriculum
- Support the social, emotional, and academic development of each child
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
- Work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in Year 5 or a similar key stage
- A passion for helping children develop a love of learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong classroom management and organisational abilities
- A positive, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching
