About the role

This position supports site preparation services including excavating, grading, land clearing, dump trucking, milling, underground utilities installation, and residential and commercial concrete flatwork installation.

Responsibilities

• Perform excavation and backfilling work
• Construct sidewalks, driveways, and patios
• Operate equipment for hauling and trucking of dirt, topsoil, gravel, sand, and asphalt/concrete milling materials
• Handle removal of materials from job sites
• Install sewers, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and water lines

Requirements

• Experience in site preparation and earthmoving operations
• Knowledge of underground utility installation procedures
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Skills

• Proficiency with excavators, loaders, and dump trucks
• Understanding of grade and slope requirements
• Familiarity with concrete flatwork techniques
• Ability to read site plans and utility maps

Qualifications

• Previous construction or site development experience
• Knowledge of safety protocols for excavation and utility work
• Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying conditions
