About the role
The Signature Fine Dining team at the Disneyland® Resort is seeking talented individuals to join our Dinner Cook team. Our restaurants offer unique growth opportunities for chefs, culinarians, and craftsmen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes to meet the needs of our guests
- Work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of meals
- Follow recipes and cooking guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of food
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Adapt to changing menu requirements and special requests
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in culinary field with a focus on high volume production
- Culinary education degree or equivalent experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills; proven leadership and interpersonal skills
- Adept at troubleshooting and handling difficult situations
- Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude towards guests and fellow Cast Members
- Excellent guest service skills and ability to provide appropriate service recovery
- Proven ability to create, read, and understand recipes
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Food Safety Certification or equivalent
- Ability to work with technology (plate costing buffet system, CAFÉ system, KDS, Workbrain)
- Flexible to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Passion for culinary arts and delighting guests with food
- Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude towards guests and fellow Cast Members
- Proven ability to create, read, and understand recipes
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology
- Food Safety Certification or equivalent
- Ability to work with technology (plate costing buffet system, CAFÉ system, KDS, Workbrain)

Pay
The pay rate for this role in California is $28.50 per hour.
Schedule
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
