Department: Event Operations • Reports to: Parking Manager • FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-exempt

About the role

Responsible for directing and observing the lot attendants during work shifts. Directing and observing the orderly flow of traffic for all venue events while keeping upper Management informed of updated traffic progress as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Parking and Security Manager
  • Supervises, assigns duties, and trains all parking employees
  • Informs Parking and Security Manager of any issues as soon as they arise
  • Acts as main parking contact for Police Traffic Control during major events
  • Oversees all parking procedures on assigned shift
  • Ensures all safety measures are provided and in place for staff and others
  • Monitors the performance of parking personnel to assure all department procedures are followed during shifts
  • Monitors parking sales, processes cash receipts and tickets through ASM Global’s established internal control procedures
  • Maintains overall integrity of cash control function
  • Handles customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner at all times
  • Monitors and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years parking lot experience
  • Working knowledge of parking practices and procedures including monetary reconciliation, traffic control set up/tear down, and strong customer service
  • Safety knowledge and training to assure a safe environment is provided
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior supervisory experience a plus

Schedule

  • Varied schedules and flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to tolerate hot and/or cold weather conditions for the duration of each work shift

Pay

$18.15 per hour
