About the role
Parking Attendant needed in Columbia, SC for 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Pay is $14.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Patrol downtown parking facilities and surface lots using golf carts, state-issued vehicle, or foot patrol
- Issue parking citations to unauthorized vehicles in facilities and surface lots
- Secure entry/exit doors for parking facilities
- Help customers with dead batteries or flat tires
- Deliver packages and reports to agencies, as needed
- Remove trash and debris from ramps, stairwells, and elevator lobbies
- Clean all handrails; wipe down emergency call boxes; clean garbage can lids
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a national background check
- Must have a valid driver's license
