About the role
Responsible for parking vehicles or issuing tickets for guests in a parking lot area. Job Functions include keeping parking areas clean and orderly, directing motorists to parking areas, patrolling parking areas to prevent damage and theft, greeting guests, calculating and collecting parking charges, lifting and removing barricades, inspecting vehicles for damage, and participating in sustainability programs.
Responsibilities
- Keep parking areas clean and orderly to maximize space usage.
- Direct motorists to parking areas or spaces using hand signals or flashlights as necessary.
- Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and theft.
- Greet guests and calculate parking charges.
- Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas.
- Inspect vehicles to detect any damage.
- Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program.
- Partner with fellow band members at the end of the show to close the venue, including collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, and properly storing event equipment.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications
- One-year previous guest service experience preferred, with excellent communication skills.
- Position requires constant walking and occasional sitting.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- A high school diploma/GED preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no moving violations or traffic citations in the past 5 years.
