Parking Garage Maintenance/Porter - Louisville Marriott - Flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Cleanliness check each shift of all guest entrances/elevator landings in the entire garage, including emptying ash urns daily and trash receptacles at ½ full or higher, and sweeping litter and cigarette butts.
• Use a mop or power washer to eliminate stains from liquid spills in the common area.
• Maintain general cleaning of the garage with a mobile garbage can, broom, and dustpan, including debris around and between vehicles.
• Power wash areas of the garage entrances and exits as needed.
• Provide directions and assist guests with inquiries, including lost vehicle assistance.
• Ensure guest confidentiality and protect customer financial and identifying information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old and able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• One to three months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic general cleaning knowledge.
• Ability to read and write standard English.
• Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements for protecting guest confidentiality.

Pay

The hourly base pay range for this position is $12 per hour.

Schedule

The potential work schedule for this position includes weekdays, weekends, some holidays, all shifts, and full or part-time positions.
