Maintenance Porter | Part-Time | State Farm Arena Parking

Responsibilities

• Regular site housekeeping and unsafe hazard inspections.
• Takes corrective action to address any conditions that are not acceptable.
• Changes light bulbs as appropriate.
• Responds immediately to any spills.
• Empties trash receptacles.
• Performs light mechanical maintenance.
• Sweeping, mopping, moving various items, and shoveling snow.
• Reports safety hazards and larger maintenance problems to a Supervisor.
• Cleans hanging signs and dusts overhead pipes.
• Maintains and reports inventory of supplies to Supervisor.
• Completes the Employee Daily Checklist and addresses unsatisfactory remarks.
• All other duties as may be assigned based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Previous hazardous materials training and janitorial and light maintenance work history are preferred.
• Able to lift heavy objects.
• Comfortable working in inclement weather.
• Able to work independently.
• Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and complete reports.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to perform a significant amount of physical activity, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, moving various items, and shoveling snow.

Pay

This role will pay an hourly wage of $19.00-$21.00 For PT roles.

Schedule

This position will remain open until August 14, 2026.
