Position Information
Individuals will enforce parking rules and regulations through the issuance of parking citations, including vehicle immobilization. Enforcement personnel are responsible for special event parking including football and basketball games as well as other events hosted by the university. Applicants must be able to work some nights and weekends, as events demand. Parking is enforced Monday thru Friday, split primarily between three shifts: 7:00am-12:00pm, 12:00pm- 4:00pm, and 4:00pm-8:00pm. Parking is enforced in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to operate hand held ticket writing machine.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in confrontational situations.
- Ability to work with diverse, and at times difficult, clientele.

Physical Requirements

- Moderate work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual Acuity Requirements
- Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Conditions Subject to Worker
- The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
