About the role
Propark Mobility is currently hiring a Parking Enforcement Officer for seasonal part-time opportunities to start immediately. This position patrols assigned areas to observe vehicles for parking violations and issues citations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Patrols an assigned area to observe automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, and other vehicles for parking violations in multiple locations.
- Issues citations for improper parking, such as parking in crosswalks, sidewalks, preferential areas, or other restricted zones.
- Operates license plate reading technology through a touch screen interface.
- Supervises towing and removal of vehicles by contracted vendors.
- Checks the operational condition of enforcement vehicles and performs routine operator maintenance, such as fueling.
- Completes data required for citations, including violation type, time, date, location, vehicle license plate number, and/or vehicle identification number.
- Performs trash pickup at multiple locations.
- Applies a "Barnacle" device to vehicles in violation.
- Exercises proper judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with the public.
- Provides the company’s standards of service with each customer, including maintaining uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Completes small cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by local management.
- Handles other special projects as assigned by location management.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- High School degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with employees and customers.
- Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner.
- Availability for mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of customer service experience.

- Physical Demands: The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk, and hear. Must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs.
- Work Environment: The employee may be subjected to prevailing weather conditions. Regular exposure to fumes and airborne particles. Noise levels can range from minimal to moderate.

Schedule
Part-time, seasonal role from now until mid-October. Schedule will vary and may include mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts.
