Location: Narragansett, Rhode Island

Schedule

Friday - Tuesday OR Wednesday - Sunday
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM OR 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Position Summary

The Supervisor will assist with the oversight of the staff and operation, while delivering the company’s standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Help motivate and lead staff in promoting teamwork and a customer service environment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints and assist with completing accident/incident reports.
  • Assist with training, scheduling, and evaluation of staff.
  • Communicate with staff on a regular basis and communicate policy changes, new programs, and operational changes.
  • Assist local management with maintaining and/or cataloging all equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
  • Reconcile daily bank reports and ticket logs and identify discrepancies as applicable.
  • Maintain log of field bank transactions, uniforms issued, and parking violators, as applicable.
  • Monitor cleanliness and physical conditions at the assigned facilities and report any safety or maintenance issues to local management.
  • Enforce policy/procedure, rules, and regulations.
  • Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues, and thanking each customer at the end of the interaction.
  • Perform valet, attendant, or cashier duties as needed.

Non-Essential Duties

  • Other special projects as assigned by local management.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of related customer service experience preferred.
  • Parking experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written and electronic correspondence.
  • Must have a valid DMV driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer.
  • Ability to safely drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Exhibit leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk, and hear. Employee will often lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The employee will be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
