Parking Attendant

About the role

The Commercial Valet Attendant is responsible for supporting customers with parking services while ensuring the parking facility remains safe, organized, and efficiently operated. This role oversees vehicle flow, monitors parking areas, and helps maintain a clean and secure environment. In addition, the Parking Attendant builds and maintains strong working relationships with the in-house Property Management team, building tenants, and external service providers to support smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide valet parking and tandem assist services; safely move and park customer vehicles as directed.
• Maintain secure custody of all valet keys collected; store under lock and follow key control procedures.
• Inspect and document pre-existing vehicle damage on the valet ticket before the driver or owner leaves the valet station.
• Conduct regular inspections of the parking structure to ensure cleanliness, safety, and presentation meet company standards.
• Assist customers with transactions including validations, monthly parking sales, and key card issues.
• Help customers entering or exiting the garage with equipment malfunctions (key cards, tickets, credit cards, validation scanners, etc.) and provide guidance on using automated systems.
