About the Role
The Kentucky Department of Parks is seeking a Park Worker I for the Lake Cumberland State Resort Park Housekeeping Department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of walkways, overhangs, porches, and other public areas as needed or directed.
- Ensure housekeeping areas, including break rooms, supply closets, and storage areas, remain clean and well-organized.
- Conduct inspections of rooms and cottages during cleaning to identify and promptly report any maintenance or facility issues to the supervisor and/or maintenance staff; complete written work orders as necessary.
- Perform duties within the laundry department, maintaining a neat and organized work area.
- Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with additional responsibilities, cross-functional tasks, and special assignments as needed.

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
