Park Services Team Member (Closing shift)

About the role

Seasonal position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TX. Hourly pay rate is $9.25.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti both behind the scenes and in guest view to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Sweep park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with broom and dustpan while continuously walking your assigned section.
• Hose down back areas and patios when necessary.
• Wipe down all trash receptacles, tabletops, and counters in assigned section.
• Give guest directions and answer questions as needed.
• Remove and replace new partially filled liners inside trash receptacles.
• Transport trash from receptacles to park compactor areas and separate materials to adhere to park recycling rules.
• Prepare restrooms for park opening each day.
• Clean up bio spills using appropriate materials.
• Enforce all Six Flags policies.
• Assist in other areas of the Park Services department.
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years of age.
• Four full days of availability during Summer operations with closing hours (3:30 PM – 11 PM) preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and most holidays.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to communicate effectively, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions such as hydration and sun protection.
• Ability to complete tasks with little supervision and work independently.
• Can handle multiple tasks at once with efficient use of time.
