PARK RANGER (PARKS AND RECREATION)

About the role

Parks and Recreation Department seeks a dynamic Park Ranger to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nature and a commitment to public service.

Responsibilities

• Provide visitor services and information at park facilities
• Enforce park rules and regulations
• Maintain park grounds and facilities
• Respond to emergencies and incidents
• Conduct educational programs and activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Physical ability to perform tasks in outdoor settings
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
• One year of relevant experience in parks, recreation, or related field

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response protocols
