Duties Summary

Performs a variety of manual and semi-skilled work tasks in the development and maintenance of scenic and recreational areas; greets visitors and gives historical and botanical information concerning the site; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Legal Authorization To Work: Citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
  • Experience: TWO (2) YEARS of work experience in and one or a combination of the following: groundskeeping, grounds maintenance and/or related work utilizing a variety of hand tools and light motorized equipment; or unskilled or semi-skilled work requiring the use of simple tools found commonly in the building or mechanical trades.
  • Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license is required at the time of appointment.

Special Requirements

  • Some positions require the ability to lift and carry items of various weights with or without reasonable accommodation.
