About the role
Bay State Community Services is seeking a parent/caregiver to provide essential support to families through parenting education and support.
Responsibilities
- Meet with families in the home to provide parenting education and support.
- Develop a plan with the family to address their needs.
- Offer groups and workshops for parents on topics such as child development, positive discipline, and family health.
- Collaborate with community providers and organizations to support families.
- Drive to reach families in the assigned catchment area.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Lived experience in parenting is required.
- Certification in Parents as Teachers (PAT) is preferred but not required.
