Parent-Tot Gymnastics Instructor
About the role
The Goodson Recreation Center is seeking an enthusiastic, engaging, fun individual to work with toddler and preschool aged children, encouraging physical activity, and teaching basic gymnastics skills that emphasize gross and fine motor coordination.
Responsibilities
- Encourage physical activity and teach basic gymnastics skills to young children.
- Communicate effectively to establish and maintain working relationships with employees and the public.
- May receive complimentary registration for one of their own children in a Parent-Tot or District recreation gymnastics class.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of employment (offered through SSPRD employment).
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children, such as preschool, summer camps, youth sports, etc.
- Gymnastics experience is a bonus, but not a requirement of this position - we can teach you the basic shapes and spotting techniques.

Pay
- $15.70 - $19.00 per hour.
