About the role

To support families and school in building success and support for every student through consistent daily attendance and high academic expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Support families and school in building success and support for every student through consistent daily attendance and high academic expectations.
  • Work with families to build relationships and foster engagement in their child’s education.
  • Facilitate parent-teacher conferences and other meetings as needed.
  • Provide resources and guidance to families on educational opportunities and supports.
  • Ensure regular attendance at school events and activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement strategies for improving student attendance and academic performance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 48 hours of approved college credit, an associate degree from an accredited school, or the successful completion of a district approved highly qualified test
  • Previous experience working with students and families preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
