Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Education, or related field, or equivalently qualified by work experience or a combination of education and work experience
- Ability to communicate positively and effectively with others in a classroom setting
- Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and compliance with agency’s Liability Carriers Requirements (may be required depending on job assignment)
- Basic proficiency in math
- Effective utilization of basic office technology
Responsibilities
Conduct parenting classes.
- Conduct parenting classes regarding particular subjects to meet agency and community needs
- Maintain paperwork and documentation needed regarding attendance in classes for grant reporting
- Distribute schedules and handouts for classes
- Be prepared for classes by studying the materials, arriving at least 20 minutes early for room preparation and to greet participants
- Replenish copies of handouts, class rosters, evaluations, and other materials used in the folders
- Return after class all class folders, rosters, evaluations in the proper location in a timely manner
- Maintain agency paperwork including timesheets and mileage logs or expenses
- Attend required meetings if possible
- Communicate regularly with the coordinator about any class needs or concerns, scheduling, or need for company car
- Turn in work schedule timely and consistently
- Maintain KIPS certification and complete KIPS and ASQ assessments per grant requirements
- Collaborate with parents and agencies to complete assessments in the home or agreed-upon location
- Exhibit and promote decisions/behavior consistent with the Center’s established Vision, Mission, and Values
- Any deviations to the work schedule and all overtime must be approved in advance
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
