Paraprofessionals 1:1 Aide

Responsibilities

• Prep & Set up necessary material for class
• Review material taught in class with individual students with learning challenges
• Escort and supervise student to restroom and toilet train
• Maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment before class starts
• Aid teachers with various tasks
• Inform parents of their children’s progress
• Help student adjust, learn and socialize

Qualifications

• Great communication and organizational skills
• Cool-tempered and positive attitude
• Firm but kind personality
• A love for teaching and the ability to build a trusting relationship with students, teachers and parents
• High School diploma
