Assists with instructional and behavioral management of youth in school, under the supervision of a certificated staff member. Support Student Success – Become a Paraprofessional at our Wegner Day School at Boys Town!

Responsibilities

• Become a Paraprofessional at our Wegner Day School at Boys Town!
• Support teachers with instruction, classroom management, and student engagement.
• Create a positive, structured learning environment that empowers youth to achieve academically and personally.
• Help prepare assignments, grade work, and reinforce learning.
• Serve as a positive role model and support student well-being.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience, preferably in a school or youth care environment required.
• Nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained during pre-service training required.

Qualifications

• Physical & Safety Requirements: Regular interaction with students in a school environment; may require periods of standing, walking, and light physical activity.
