Supplemental Healthcare is hiring Paraprofessionals to join our team and work alongside teachers at partnering school districts to help students with special needs succeed - academically, socially, and emotionally.
Every day, you’ll play a key role in creating a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels safe, capable, and valued. You’ll be part of a collaborative, caring school community.
Responsibilities
- Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups with classwork, communication, and daily routines
- Helping implement behavior plans and IEP goals with care and consistency
- Assisting students with special needs who may require help with mobility, personal care, or emotional regulation
- Creating a positive learning environment where all students can thrive
- Teaming up with teachers, therapists, and staff to make school a great place to be
- Willingness to assist with physical or behavioral needs as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children
- Prior experience working with children with special needs, physical/mental disabilities, or behavior management
- Education (must have one of the following):
- A minimum of 60 hours of college credits
- Associate's degree or higher
- Passing score on Missouri ParaPro or Paraprofessional Assessment
- Completion of Missouri's online Substitute training program

Pay
$19.10 - $20.55 per hour. Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience.
