Minimum Qualifications
- Current and valid Paraprofessional license
- 60 college credit hours or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining Paraprofessional license
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Essential Job Functions
- Promote a safe environment, including physical intervention as needed according to protocol
- CPI training preferred or willingness to train
- Work cooperatively as a team member and communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administration; maintain a positive attitude and dependability
- Willingness or experience working with young children with special needs
Pay and Benefits
- $17.50 per hour starting, plus benefits
- Additional credit may be provided for candidates with prior work experience
