About the role

The Paraprofessional at Huntington North High School will provide support to students in academic areas such as reading, writing, and mathematics. They will assist teachers in managing classroom activities and maintaining a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Support students in completing assignments and projects
• Assist teachers in classroom management and organization
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with adolescents preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Basic computer skills including keyboarding and email usage

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Pass a background check
