Schedule
6.5 hours per day; 188 days per year.
Qualifications
- Required: Completion of at least 48 hours of earned college credit at an institution of higher education, or obtained an Associate's degree (or higher), or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local assessment (Para Pro Assessment Test):
- knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics, or
- knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading readiness, as appropriate.
- Experience working with children.
- Wholesome and understanding attitude toward children.
- Ability to use proper English and communicate well.
- Pleasing personality.
- Willingness to learn and expand general knowledge.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Pay
$15.28 - $19.44 per hour
